I believe the audience has an impression. Not long ago, we conducted a field test drive for the dual-motor high-performance version of Zhiji LS6 (hereinafter referred to as "LS6") in the venue. The 3.48s acceleration and high playability of the body left a deep impression on us. But some friends are worried that driving such a grumpy car on the road will not be afraid of being unable to hold it, will the suspension be too hard, and it will be too bumpy to sit up. We got on the bus and entered the city road. First of all, in "comfort mode", the LS6’s electric door opening and fit are adjusted very well, and there will be no movement at all. The straight white point is linear. Shallow stepping on 1/4 of the electric door process, you can experience a smooth and brisk low-speed power response, and when you go up at 60km/h, you can also feel a steady stream of power. Although grumpy, it will give you the peace of mind that "everything is in control".
The steering hand feels 80 points, and the low-speed, light, high-speed, and heavy damping settings are in line with driving habits. The directivity is also more accurate. It performs well for an SUV, and the tail follows well. It can even be described as agile when changing lanes. There is no pressure in the traffic flow.
The filter vibration setting of the LS6 is skewed, but the riding feeling in the cabin is not upside down. First, the suspension calibration is very flexible, and it will not bounce back and forth. Second, the wrapping degree and filling of the seat will isolate most of the vibration. The only drawback is that when passing a higher speed bump, there will be excess bump in the rear row, but other road conditions are comfortable.
The brake foot feels more linear, a little bit there, but will not leave you too sensitive impression. To say that the Continental’s integrated all-aluminum four-piston solid pliers and Brembo FNC carbonitriding front brake disc play a considerable role.
Unlike most electric vehicles, the kinetic energy recovery of the LS6 is set to three gears: off, low, and standard. We have experienced that even with the highest recovery level, there will be no serious drag, and the driver’s body is still relatively supple.
LS6 uses double laminated glass on all four doors, and engineers have used multiple acoustic packages throughout the car, and more than 20 cavities in the body have also been added to the foam partition design, so the NVH performance of this car can be regarded as the same price. Excellent level, fetal noise and wind noise are suppressed very well.
However, the LS6’s special-shaped steering wheel does need to be adapted, allowing the main driver to have a more open field of vision when cruising at high speed, but it is a bit easy to get rid of in scenarios that require "Tai Chi".
In order to deal with the blind spot generated during the steering process, the LS6 will display the blind spot picture on the corresponding side of the instrument panel after turning on the turn signal, and different pictures will be displayed at low speed and high speed. For example, when we hit the left turn signal, at low speed, the blind spot picture of the A-pillar is displayed, while at high speed, the blind spot in the left rear area is displayed, which is quite user-friendly, because in the past, when driving a thicker A-pillar model, my neck needed to do a set of Xinjiang exercises when turning.
However, the LS6 also puts the blind spot monitoring reminder on the screen, which will flash a red halo on the corresponding side, but to be honest, it is not very eye-catching and is very easy to be ignored. It is better to put it on the rearview mirror.
The LS6 makes the interior rearview mirror a foldable style, mainly because the field of view of the interior rearview mirror is very limited, similar to the Avita 11, only a small area can be seen, so it is better to make the front view more open.
So the problem is, the front is open, what should I do with the field of view at the back? The LS6 solution is to project the picture of the rearview camera on the screen as a supplement to the field of view of the rearview mirror in the car. The picture fineness is still acceptable, but the habit of looking at the rearview mirror needs to be adapted.
In the previous test drive section, we mentioned that the seat comfort of the LS6 is quite good. You can see that the front seat is fully wrapped. The engineer said that the seat was inspired by a comfortable Italian sofa with a 20mm sponge layer. At the same time, the seat is also made of high-grade Nappa leather and Delicato leather, which is delicate and skin-friendly.
The interior layout is similar to that of the LS7, with the iconic "liftable" through-screen large screen, the co-pilot screen and the central control screen forming a three-screen system linkage. Compared with the trend of the LS7, the air conditioner has cancelled the through-type structure and changed to a small-size electronic control style, which can be regarded as a certain distinction. The contrasting interior is covered with a large area of leather stitching process, and the wood grain texture panel inlaid in the center, which makes the LS6’s interior feel of technology and luxury outstanding.
We found that in the central control screen, the LS6 gives an option icon for steering wheel adjustment, which makes us mistakenly think that this car is an electric steering wheel, but this car is actually a manual steering wheel. So the icon clicks on it, and it says "Teach you how to adjust the steering wheel manually". The only explanation is that this car may have an electric steering wheel version, so the manual version also uses this set of UI layout. But in all fairness, even if you want to give the manual, there is no need to put it on such a priority control level. There is a sense of powerlessness that the finale is rice.
Secondly, we found that the adjustment of the air conditioner is the opposite of our commonly used adjustment method, sliding down is cooling, sliding up is heating up, and the switching motion graphics of the entire interface are very good.
There is a wireless charging area and sunglasses placement area on the panel below, that is, the "pit position" is slightly shallow, and it is easy to scratch out under bumpy road conditions.
After adjusting the seats in the front row, we came to the back row. The legroom in the back row is more than two punches, which can’t compare to the big brother LS7 in horizontal space, but in terms of body feeling in vertical space, the LS6 belongs to the same level and upper level.
Looking up, there is the word "IM MAG" on the back of the front seat, indicating that the LS6 can also be equipped with six magnetic accessories, including a foldable small table board, an eye-protecting reading lamp, a portable beauty mirror, and a multi-functional expansion bracket.
For me personally, the rear seat supports the legs very well, and the seat padding is thick and soft. Although the backrest can be adjusted in a range of 10 degrees, at the maximum angle, you need to slip to find a comfortable sitting position.
The shape of the door panel is relatively unique. It is wrapped in full leather and has been sealed. The mobile phone can be stuck in the slot, which is more convenient to take.
After I opened the door, I found that the back door design was rather thick, and it was also a struggle for a plump hip line.
The trunk with a slippery back shape has a large opening and closing degree.
