Honda is recalling more than 1.30 million vehicles.
According to CCTV Finance, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently said that Honda has recalled more than 1.30 million vehicles worldwide due to potential rear-view camera image display problems. Among them, 1.20 million vehicles will be recalled in the United States, 88,000 vehicles in Canada, and 16,000 vehicles in Mexico. It is understood that between May 2017 and June this year, no reports of casualties related to the recall issue have been received.

Recall in both domestic and foreign markets

The models involved are the 2018-2020 Fit and the 2019-2022 HR-V.
After a month, Honda initiated two more recalls.
In March, Honda recalled about 500,000 vehicles in the United States and Canada for possible failure to fasten the front seat belts. The recall covers several of Honda’s best-selling models, including the 2017-2020 CR-V, the 2018-2019 ACCORD, the 2018-2020 Odyssey, and the 2019-2020 Acura RDX.At the same time, the mirror glass is at risk of falling off because the heating pads behind the side mirrors on both sides may not be bonded properly. Honda is recalling about 330,000 vehicles in the United States. The recalled models are the 2020-2022 Odyssey, 2020-2022 Passport, 2020-2021 Pilot and Ridgeline models.
The above recall has not yet involved the Chinese market.

The Accord is not only the best-selling model, but also the model with the largest number of recalls.In April this year, according to the official website of the State Administration for Market Supervision, GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda recalled about 255,000 vehicles due to incomplete EDR records.Specifically, GAC Honda recalled some gasoline version Accord series vehicles from 2020 to 2022, totaling 224,476 vehicles; Dongfeng Honda recalled some gasoline version INSPIRE series vehicles from 2021 to 2022, totaling 31,020 vehicles.
