On November 15th, BMW i5 eDrive40L and xDrive50L were listed at Guangzhou Auto Show, with official prices of 485,900 yuan and 539,900 yuan respectively. The eDrive40L is 46,000 more expensive than the eDrive35L entry-level version on sale. The two new cars are equipped with high-power single motor and front and rear double motors, respectively, which match the larger capacity. The CLTC cruising range is 713km and 651km.
The two new models of i5 are equipped with 12.3-inch +14.9-inch screen, iDrive8.5 car system and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chip, and the high-equipped models are equipped with the integrated module of V2X car and Lu Yun. The new car comes standard with panoramic star-track canopy, front seat heating/ventilation, Harman Kardon audio and so on.
The i5 eDrive 40L can be regarded as a long-life version of rear drive, equipped with a high-power rear single motor, with 6.7s acceleration at zero speed, 96.96kWh matching and 713km battery life under CLTC working conditions. The xDrive 50L is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with maximum power of 190/250kW and acceleration of 4.2s at zero speed, making it the fastest domestic vehicle.
