　　Huang Kunming pointed out that this year marks the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up. 　　The World Chinese Newspaper Association was established in Hong Kong in 1968, with the aim of contacting Chinese newspaper practitioners around the world and promoting the development of Chinese newspaper industry. The theme of this year’s annual meeting is "Chinese newspaper industry in the new era", and more than 130 Chinese newspaper people from 17 countries and regions participated.
